Having graduated from University of New South Wales, Australia in 1996, Peck Cheong worked as a landscape architect and project manager in the National Parks Board for 3.5 years before joining Tierra Design, Singapore. After 7 years in Tierra, Peck Cheong and Tuan Wee started Tinderbox Landscape Studio.
Peck Cheong has a distinct flair for design conceptualizing. His awareness of proportions, sensitivity, and eye for grasping the essence of the scheme develops landscape designs that are comprehensive yet simple.
Tuan Wee graduated from Mackintosh School of Architecture, Glasgow University with a Graduate Diploma in Architecture in 1998. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Architectural Studies) in NUS prior to that. Tuan Wee worked in the architecture industry before joining Tierra Design, Singapore in 2000, and started Tinderbox in 2007.
Tuan Wee developed a keen love for horticulture and landscaping even before her architecture studies. With acute sense of design and detailing, and architecture training background, she has the consciousness to create landscape designs with sensitivity and attention to detail, in both soft and hard landscape.
