SILA Singapore Landscape Architecture Awards 2015 for Residential,
BOATHOUSE RESIDENCES | 2015
The central landscape of Boathouse Residences takes on a Riverine concept, three different stages in a river system - the water source and tributaries; the river main body; and the meandering river and floodplains.
Outdoor spa pools are set amongst the landscape of palm, fern gully and water cascades, featuring dip pool tubs, water foot reflexology, and rain shower massages. Boat shed spas provide each spa area with its own shelter and privacy. The relaxing hammock island is where one can relax on hammocks over the water. A feature river rafting pool caters for water play fun where children in rubber floats are pushed along a meandering river by flowing water. In addition, the clubhouse and gymnasium are designed as boathouses berthing by the riverbank.

A discarded propeller was discovered on the site in 2012 during the excavation. This historical artefact was cleaned and displayed at the clubhouse drop-off, a proud reminder the site's past and a feature in the landscape.
